Words of the (not so) wiser

      Upon reading the title, readers are likely expecting an extravagant trip with a group of friends to see a concert with a star-studded lineup. Well, it was breathtaking, but it was a virtual concert I attended happily with thousands of strangers.     Sky: Children of the light, or my personal favorite video game, is a social, open-world game that has an incredible central journey, cute cosmetics, a wonderful soundtrack, and community events. As someone who has played for over two years, I have had a positive experience connecting with friends and strangers all across the world through playing this game.      ThatGameCompany, the developers of Sky, had decided to create an event that would take the game to the next level for their participation in the 2023 Gamescon taking place in Germany.     Upon my research into viewing popular blogs, my entire perspective on the definition of a blog changed. My assumption of blogs until starting this project was that their primary use was for personal entries, almost like a diary that you would share with people you know. I also assumed that blogs were narrowed down to one general topic, like food, family life, fashion, etc. As it turns out, blogs can go beyond personal use and can expand beyond a single topic.     In fact, there are a significant amount of websites that people rely on for news or information that are actually blogs! I originally thought that websites such as TMZ , The Verge , and Mashable  are al examples of blogs. I previously thought that these blogs, and others hat are similar, were categorized more as news publications or informational websites. This initial post is here to let everyone here learn a little about who I am so you all can be familiarized with my writing style, and to help everyone receive a little more context into each of the posts I write moving forward (the context being more of my interests, things I am passionate about, strengths/weaknesses and how they show in each topic I write about, etc.).
